Balall Yaqub
Balall is a dynamic entrepreneur and has successfully established more than 5 technology companies. He has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. In 1976, Balall set up the Hewlett Packard Distributorship in the United Arab Emirates. In 1983, he moved to Pakistan and established the ABM Group of Companies. This group is recognized as one of the largest IT Groups in Pakistan. He was CEO of ABM Info Tech, Pakistan, CEO of ABM Data Systems, Pakistan, and Director of Datamation Systems, UAE. Balall completed his MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona.

Junaid Hameed Khan
Junaid is the Chairman of Avanza Solutions with more than 16 years of experience in IT and management. Junaid holds a Bachelors degree from FAST ICS and a Masters degree in business administration from IBA. Prior to joining Avanza Pakistan, Junaid worked for NCR Corporation, Dubai. Junaid has years of experience in providing high quality solutions to some of the leading local and international banks in the world, coupled with his strategic and technical expertise, has made him a very well-known and respected figure in the technology and banking industry.
              
Mahmood Kapurwala
Mahmood is the CEO of Avanza Pakistan and has more than 10 years of experience in IT and Management. Mahmood is an MBA Gold Medalist from SZABIST. Prior to being appointed as the CEO of Avanza Solutions, Mahmood was the CFO for Avanza Pakistan & Middle East. Mahmood joined Avanza in 2002 and has been instrumental in the growth of the company over the years.

Waqas Mirza – Head of Core Products and Services, Avanza Middle East
Waqas is a graduate of FAST-NU and heads the core products and services unit of Avanza M.E. He has held various positions at Avanza Pakistan and Middle East since he joined the company in 2001.  

Mohammad Omar – Operations Head, Avanza Middle East
Omar is a Computer Science graduate and heads the project management and operations at Avanza Middle East. Omar joined Avanza in 2003 and has successfully managed to implement numerous solutions in the Middle East.

Muhammad Aftab – Head of Technical Support, Avanza Middle East
Aftab is a graduate of SSUET and Heads Technical Support for Middle East. Aftab transformed Avanza’s conventional technical support to customer and project management, in accordance to modern day challenges; and made Avanza’s support an essential & effective division of the company by utilizing his diversified experience.

Chief Technology Officer e-Banking Operations also known as the Avanza Technology Group, Omer is a Computer Science graduate of GIKI and holds a Masters from University of California. 

Muhammad Kashif Jamil - Group Head Quality Services Group
Kashif is a graduate of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology and holds a Masters in Software Engineering from Hamdard University. Kashif has 11 years of extensive experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing. He is responsible for Software Testing activities, CMMI implementations, process improvement and company-wide Audits.

Asif Aziz – Group Head Software Operations
Asif Aziz, Group Head Software Operations for Asia/ Africa region, has been associated with Avanza since 2005. Asif did his Bachelors and Masters from FAST NU and carries with him more than 14 years of experience in Software Development, with key discipline of Project / Program Management.

Jawad Qureshi – Head of Business Development (Pakistan)
Jawad has done BCS from FAST-NU, MCS from SZABIST & MBA from CBM (IoBM). He has an overall experience of 10+ years in designing & selling various software & infrastructure solutions. His most remarkable quality is to develop & maintain fully satisfied long-term customer relationships, which is due to his focus towards quality & customer satisfaction. He is heading Avanza's corporate sales in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Africa, and Bangladesh.

Maryam Hussain – Head of Marketing
Having over seven years of specialized experience in the fields of Marketing, Strategy, and IT Consultancy, Maryam is responsible for Avanza’s global strategic marketing, including market research & insights management, brand portfolio management, and corporate communications.
With an IT Consultancy background, Maryam holds an MBA - specializing in Strategy from Harvard, US.

Mr. Muhammad Iqbal Lalani, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Lalani is fellow member of the institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan -ICMAP and Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan - ICSP.  He has Over 21 years of comprehensive experience in the fields of Accounting, Finance, Budgeting, Costing, and Corporate / Tax matters in servicing for different corporate organizations as CFO, Company Secretary & Manager Finance.

Sajid Ahmed – Group Head HR | Admin | IS
Sajid is a result-oriented management professional heading the Human Resource, Administration and Information System group at Avanza Solutions. After completing his Bachelors & Masters in Business Administration from United States, he possesses around 12 plus years of diversified management experience in business and human capital acquisition, retention & development with leading brands in banking, distribution and technology sectors.
